Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Supervise drivers and dispatch staff and provide coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Oversee daily transportation operations, scheduling, and route coverage.
- Coverage driver absences and service disruptions.
- Maintain service quality, on-time performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and customer complaints.
- Ensure compliance with FTA, ODOT, ADA, and agency policies.
- Coverage required training and FTA drug and alcohol testing for safety-sensitive employees.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance Department for vehicle availability and report maintenance concerns.
- Maintain operational records and assist with required reporting.
- Promote a safe, professional, and customer-focused work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions
- This position includes both office and field work and may require occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, or after-hours response to operational issues.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Three years of transportation, dispatch, logistics, or supervisory experience preferred.
- A valid Ohio driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and transportation scheduling software preferred.
