Domino’s Pizza, which began in 1960 as a single store location in Ypsilanti, MI, is a reshaped, reenergized brand focused on honesty, transparency, and accountability. As a technology leader, Domino’s handles one of the top five volumes of online transactions in the U.S., with 65% of sales coming through digital channels. The supervisor oversees a team of drivers (Class A and B) delivering to Domino’s Pizza stores, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, state and local laws, and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, interview, select, and mentor new and tenured drivers.
  • Support driver engagement initiatives and monitor performance, using coaching or progressive discipline as needed.
  • Complete drivers' annual performance reviews and review Lytx and logs for coaching opportunities.
  • Collaborate on drivers' onboarding and training.
  • Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with FMCSA, OSHA, and company standards.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, departments, and vendors to foster a positive team environment.
  • Attend and participate in Leadership & Development trainings.
  • Coordinate safety, team, and quarterly meetings.
  • Prepare and assist with Transportation-generated reports and monitor budgets and fuel cards.
  • Participate in budget development.
  • Schedule driver routes weekly and re-route as necessary for coverage.
  • Conduct route analysis and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
  • Monitor driver hours of service via onboard systems and conduct route observations for safety compliance.
  • Maintain food safety standards and monitor mis-deliveries, recommending avoidance strategies.
  • Maintain driver qualification files and schedule truck maintenance.
  • Conduct accident investigations and coordinate deliveries and backhauls.
  • Assist the Transportation Manager with truck leasing meetings to ensure preventive maintenance standards are met.
  • Perform payroll duties and review driver payroll for accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including driving company vehicles if qualified.
  • Handle customer complaints ("Slice of Pie") and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Manage customer surveys.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (some college hours or a 2-year degree preferred).
  • 2-3 years of documented supervisory experience.
  • 2-3 years of route scheduling experience.
  • Knowledge of Department of Transportation and FMCSA rules and regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, Transportation Management Systems (TMS), computers, and scanner equipment/software.
  • Willingness to support a 24-hour operation, including carrying an emergency cell phone as needed.
  • Results-oriented with strong organizational, decision-making, and people skills.
  • Successfully pass a background check every third year on your anniversary date.
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 25 lbs. frequently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures (non-air-conditioned warehouse), both indoors and outdoors, including refrigerated conditions (33-38°F).
  • Ability to work in an environment with exposure to loud machinery.
  • Ability to work with and around yeast and flour.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM (must be flexible).

Pay

Starting at $80,000 depending on experience, plus bonus.
