Pay: $12/hr to start
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Insurable driving record
- High School Diploma or GED
Preferred: experience working with mentally ill consumers
Responsibilities
- Transport individuals to surrounding psychiatric units using an agency-provided vehicle
- Provide oversight to mentally ill consumers in a group-home setting when not transporting
- Prepare meals, monitor medications, and deliver basic living-skills training
- Monitor all consumer behavior
- Clean kitchen and main group-home area; assist consumers with room upkeep
- Complete on-site medication-assistance certification training for continued employment
- Enter data into the electronic health record and complete the electronic MAR
- Float onto other shifts as directed by the program supervisor
Schedule
Full-time, typically Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with occasional coverage of other shifts as needed.
