Transportation Safety Administrator

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining Driver Qualification files.
  • Maintaining Equipment Permits (LCV, Hazmat, etc.).
  • Cooking driver training (MSHA, customer site-specific).
  • Maintain driver expiring events calendar (driver’s licenses, DOT Physicals, etc.).
  • Aid in ordering specialized driver PPE.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly hours reports.
  • Review ELD Harsh incidents and HOS.

Requirements

  • A CDL with TX Endorsements.
  • The ability to Pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
  • Experience maintaining DOT files.
  • Accident/Incident investigation experience.
  • Some College or post-high school training.

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with DOT regulations, Hours of Service (ELD) and Hazmat compliance.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Adobe, etc.
  • Two years of Transportation experience.
  • Good organization and prioritization skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good communication skills.

Pay

The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
