About the role
The role involves traffic planning and design, working with various stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable transportation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urban planning, transportation engineering, or a related field.
Responsibilities
- Develop and analyze traffic flow models and transportation systems
- Collaborate with engineers, planners, and stakeholders to design and implement traffic management plans
- Conduct research on emerging transportation technologies and trends
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
- Assist in the development and maintenance of traffic infrastructure projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Transportation Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in traffic planning and design
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and GIS software
Qualifications
- Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
- Experience with traffic simulation software
