About the role

The role involves traffic planning and design, working with various stakeholders to develop and implement efficient transportation solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in urban planning, traffic engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and analyze traffic flow models to identify congestion points and propose solutions.
  • Collaborate with engineers, planners, and clients to design sustainable transportation systems.
  • Conduct research on emerging trends in traffic management and transportation infrastructure.
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Traffic Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in traffic planning and design.
  • Proficiency in traffic simulation software and GIS tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices.
  • Experience with traffic signal design and intersection analysis.
  • Understanding of public transportation systems and modal integration.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with traffic modeling software (e.g., CORSIM, VISSIM).
  • Strong understanding of traffic engineering standards and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
