About the role
The role involves traffic planning and design, focusing on developing sustainable transportation solutions and improving road safety. Successful candidates will contribute to projects that enhance urban mobility and environmental sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement traffic management plans
- Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to inform design decisions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure project success
- Prepare and present reports and presentations on project progress and outcomes
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in traffic planning and design
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Planning, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in traffic planning and design
- Experience with traffic simulation software and GIS tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Professional certifications in traffic engineering or related fields preferred
- Knowledge of local and international traffic regulations and standards
- Experience with project management methodologies
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with traffic simulation software (e.g., CORSIM, VISSIM)
- Understanding of traffic flow analysis and modeling techniques
- Knowledge of traffic signal control systems
