About the role

The role involves traffic planning and design, working closely with stakeholders to develop and implement sustainable transportation solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in urban planning, traffic engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze traffic flow models to inform infrastructure improvements.
• Collaborate with city planners, engineers, and community members to understand local needs and constraints.
• Design and implement traffic calming measures and pedestrian-friendly infrastructure.
• Conduct research on emerging trends in traffic management and sustainability.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project progress and findings to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Traffic Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in traffic planning and design.
• Experience with traffic simulation software and GIS tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Professional certifications in traffic engineering or urban planning preferred.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
• Experience with public engagement and community outreach.

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with traffic modeling software (e.g., CORSIM, VISSIM).
• Understanding of sustainable transportation concepts and practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
