What You’ll Be Doing
- Oversight of planning, design, and construction of FCPC Government road, bridge, walking path, trail, community parks, and open space projects
- Management and coordination of internal and outsourced contracted feasibility studies, comprehensive plans, and proposals
- Development and implementation of recreational programs promoting the health, safety, and well-being of the FCPC Tribal Community
- Collaboration with the Grants Department, FCP DOT Director, Roads Program Manager, and Facilities Director on grant writing and grant administration
- Aid in the implementation and management of an ArcGIS based asset management system for roads, bridges, walking paths, trails, community parks, and open spaces
- Development and maintenance of effective working relationships with stakeholders and governmental partners, leading public engagement meetings and related processes
What You’ll Need To Be Successful
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Landscape Architecture, Project Management or related field
- Minimum five (5) years of related experience required, (10) years of related experience preferred
- Professional Engineer’s or Professional Landscape Architect’s license preferred
- Experience in contracting, contract oversight, project management, and grant writing
- Experience reviewing civil designs, understanding construction requirements, and managing assets and maintenance operations
- Ability to travel periodically to conferences and meetings some out of state travel
