Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

Skills
- Ability to work in extreme outdoor weather conditions
- Knowledge of tools and equipment used for maintenance work
- Ability to lift materials commonly used in maintenance work
- Completion of VTTC required coursework within six months or enrollment

Pay
The step 1 rate for pay grade 18 is $21.41 per hour, while the step 15 rate is $33.11 per hour. The full salary range is provided, but new hires are typically made at the minimum.
Schedule
Considerable overtime work is required, particularly during the winter months, which is a condition of employment.
