Transportation Hydraulics Project Manager
About the role
The Transportation Hydraulics Senior Engineer/Project Manager is responsible for providing leadership support in project delivery, business development, and growth of HDR’s Transportation Hydraulics Group in the state of Ohio. This position serves as a Project Manager/Hydraulics Lead on key projects, promoting HDR through active engagement in professional organizations, and coordinating with area client managers and marketing staff to identify projects and contract opportunities.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- Ohio PE required
- 8 years of working experience related to hydraulics engineering, water resource engineering, and permitting for transportation projects
- 4 years Project Management experience
- Strong leadership, planning, mentoring experience
- Technical proficiency in preparing hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and reports, scour investigations, erosion and sediment control plans and reports, drainage, and stormwater management design, waterway and NPDES permitting, quantity & cost estimates, and specifications
Qualifications
- Technical proficiency in standard drainage analysis and design packages including but not limited to AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation OpenRoads Designer, StormCAD
- HEC-RAS 1D/2D and/or SRH-2D river modeling experience preferred
- ArcGIS Pro and HEC-HMS experience preferred

Pay
The expected compensation range for this position is $115,010 - $164,300 per year.
