Transportation Field Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Makes sure drivers complete pre and post trip inspections and address equipment issues.
• Checks drivers for readiness before they start their shifts.
• Visits drivers on the road to check safety and addresses any issues immediately.
• Coordinates dispatching and driving routes as needed.
• Assists in interviewing new drivers.
• Maintains on-time performance records.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to two years of supervisory experience preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience handling collision and injury claims.
• Prior school bus driver experience preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to perform safety inspections and address violations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with drug and alcohol testing.

Pay

Starting rate: $27.00 per hour.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 1st shift.
