Transportation Engineer in Training

About the role

Stantec is seeking a highly motivated, ambitious, Transportation Engineer in Training (EIT). The position offers the opportunity to work on small and large high-profile transportation engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform Roadway and Highway geometric design
• Model projects in MicroStation using the latest software (OpenRoads)
• Prepare construction documents and cost estimates under the guidance of a licensed professional engineer
• Perform field work to collect data or observe projects under construction

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) minimum
• EIT certification in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months is required
• Experience with OpenRoads, Microstation and Civil 3D is preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and interpret sketches, drawings, and various exhibits

Qualifications

Pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location.
