Responsibilities
- Field work to gather hydraulic data
- Roadway and cross drainage design
- Review of encroachment permits
- Inter-Governmental Review/California Environmental Quality Act (IGR/CEQA) and local development plans
- Empire and bridge protection design
- Floodplain analysis
- Hydrology development
- Central Valley Flood Protection Board (CVFPB) approval application
- Make engineering decisions on a daily basis necessary to solve hydrologic and hydraulic engineering problems
- Effectively analyze a wide variety of hydrologic and hydraulic engineering problems and develop practical solutions
Requirements
- Experience in performing the duties described or the ability to quickly learn how to do so
Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
Skills
- Ability to make engineering decisions on a daily basis
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic engineering principles
Pay
$77,856.00 - $145,824.00 annually
