Job Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Cook up and oversee scheduling of resident transportation
- Ensure residents are transported safely and on time to medical appointments
- Drive facility vehicle when needed
- Communicate with nursing staff to ensure resident transport needs are met
- Provide hands-on assistance to residents during transport, when necessary
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness, fuel levels, and schedule maintenance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (required)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (strongly preferred)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required)
- 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility or nursing home (preferred)
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Able to lift and assist residents as needed during transport
