Job Summary
Fountain Springs Healthcare Center is seeking a Transportation Driver to safely, timely, and reliably transport residents to and from appointments and the center.
Essential Functions
- Maintain safe and courteous motor vehicle operation in compliance with applicable laws.
- Perform safe transfer of residents from bed to chair, chair to bed.
- Perform safe loading and unloading of residents to and from transport van.
- Carry out routine vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation of the vehicle.
- Report vehicle accidents, traffic citations, or incidents immediately and complete required reports.
Education, Licensure, And Experience
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant licensure in the state of South Dakota.
