Job Summary

Essential Duties

• Provides a high level of customer service and assistance while transporting residents to and from activities, appointments, and other outings in accordance with safety standards.
• Is responsible for the safety of residents at all times.
• Makes sure resident safety on the bus, while boarding and departing the vehicle as well as the entrance and exit of buildings.
• Responsible for general upkeep of the vehicle including inspections, regularly scheduled maintenance, and all required paperwork.

Preferred Qualifications

• A High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Active Illinois Driver’s License, meeting DOT required vehicle licensure and physical
• Must be between the age of twenty-five (25) and seventy-four (74) per facility insurance requirements
• Experience as a bus or van driver preferred
