Transportation Design Engineer - Hybrid

Primary Responsibilities

  • Aid in transportation planning and engineering studies on various projects in Wisconsin
  • Create environmental and design documentation, including report writing
  • Contribute to automated highway design tasks such as plan preparation, quantity takeoffs, and construction cost estimating
  • Collaborate with utility companies and other governmental agencies
  • Involvement in public outreach activities
  • Perform other duties as directed

    Skills and Requirements

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited U.S. college or university
    • A professional engineering license from the State of Wisconsin preferred
    • 4-8 years of transportation design experience
    • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
    • Experience with WisDOT facilities development process desirable
    • Applicable U.S. work experience
