Transportation Coordinator

At-a-Glance Join our team as a Transportation Coordinator, managing shipping schedules and coordinating logistics for our supply chain facilities. Position Type Contract On-Site Required Previous experience performing the same type of role at a Fortune 500 company. Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or the food-services industry relevant to the role. 1-2 years' experience in transportation or logistics-related field. Strong MS Office skills, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint. SAP, WMS, TMS experience. Strong communication skills, including good verbal, written, and listening skills. Responsibilities Manage daily shipping schedules, dock appointments, carrier communications, and route execution for warehouse mixing centers and supply chain facilities. Route daily orders using company guidelines, secure carrier capacity, and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery. Coordinate inbound and outbound appointments, manage dock capacity with third-party logistics (3PL) partners and campus managers, and troubleshoot at-risk loads. Maintain data integrity in systems like SAP, WMS, and TMS, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and ensure Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance. Partner with bottling networks, co-packers, manufacturing teams, and Centers of Excellence (COEs) to resolve scheduling issues.
