At our brand new Salt Lake City Plant, you’ll coordinate transportation schedules, support drivers, and ensure timely, compliant movement of medical waste—directly contributing to protecting frontline healthcare workers and the environment.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics and communication between plant operations, sales, and field teams to ensure smooth transportation workflows
  • Monitor driver activity and compliance using tools like Nextraq, ensuring adherence to DOT regulations and safety standards
  • Oversee vehicle maintenance and inspections, scheduling service and ensuring roadworthiness, cleanliness, and proper operation
  • Ensure manifest and order accuracy, reviewing load sheets and smart container quality to meet customer requirements
  • Analyze route efficiency to optimize cost savings and support continuous improvement in logistics processes
  • Support driver communication and training, preparing memos and assisting with health and safety compliance
  • Assist with logistics projects and administrative tasks, including vendor/customer communication and process implementation

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Transportation Support and/or dispatch experience
  • Box truck driving experience is preferred but not required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Strong understanding of transportation/logistics practices and procedures
  • Knowledge of best practices for customer needs assessments, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to reliably commute to our Salt Lake City, UT Plant
