Transportation Compliance/Training Specialist
About the role
The Transportation Compliance/Training Specialist will provide compliance and training in the areas of Department of Transportation/Head Start Program Performance Standards (HSPPS), and have knowledge of childcare regulations in the geographic regions that ECMHSP operates. They will also develop school bus routes and apply knowledge of local state and federal guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Provide compliance and training in Department of Transportation/Head Start Program Performance Standards (HSPPS)
- Develop school bus routes and apply knowledge of local state and federal guidelines
- Have knowledge of childcare regulations in the geographic regions that ECMHSP operates
Qualifications
- Associates Degree and 2 years Transportation management experience
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or related field, 3 years training experience and experience working in Head Start Transportation preferred
- CDL with P & S Endorsements, School Bus Driver Certificate, Child Passenger Safety Technician and CPR/FA Instructor preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
