By joining our Warren County Equipment Unit 212 as a Transportation Auto and Truck Technician I in Warren County, you’ll have the opportunity to learn to maintain District-wide equipment, including trackhoes, dump trucks, loaders, pumps, and more.

Responsibilities

• Change oil and hydraulic fluids
• Diagnose and resolve electrical problems
• Maintain equipment during snow and ice operations
• Monitor equipment using computer systems
• Work on both small and large equipment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of automotive, equipment, or truck repair technical experience
• Vocational or technical school training in automotive/truck repair or a related area may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Must obtain a Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) within six months of employment
• CDL license or ability to obtain one
