By joining our Warren County Equipment Unit 212 as a Transportation Auto and Truck Technician I in Warren County, you’ll have the opportunity to learn to maintain District-wide equipment, including trackhoes, dump trucks, loaders, pumps, and more.
Responsibilities
- Change oil and hydraulic fluids
- Diagnose and resolve electrical problems
- Maintain equipment during snow and ice operations
- Monitor equipment using computer systems
- Work on both small and large equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of automotive, equipment, or truck repair technical experience
- Vocational or technical school training in automotive/truck repair or a related area may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Must obtain a Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) within six months of employment
- CDL license or ability to obtain one
