About the role

Our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Pinehurst, North Carolina (NC), was thoughtfully designed to redefine care through exceptional hospitality, innovative services, and a welcoming environment for both residents and team members. We are currently seeking a transportation services driver to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Transport patients by assisting patients in and out of vans/vehicles; lifting patients on and off beds; moving them to and from special service and treatment areas, using wheelchairs or moveable beds.
- Communicate with outside entities with excellent customer service.
- Comfort patients and their families by offering support and encouragement; being punctual and attentive to procedure schedules; demonstrating caring and cultural sensitivity.
- Transport equipment and supplies by picking up requisitioned orders; delivering them to assigned treatment areas and patient care areas.
- Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with federal and state legal regulations.
- Enhance health care organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
- Manage confidential patient information.
- Ensure all residents have a safe transportation experience.
- Engage in training upon hire and ongoing to ensure up-to-date knowledge of current safety practices.
Requirements
- Candidate must have a current valid driver’s license with no serious infractions.
- CNA certification, and experience in customer service, transportation and healthcare are preferred.
- Training will be offered on-site regardless of level of experience.
