About the role
The Registered Nurse Transport Coordinator assists in developing transport protocols, training, and process improvements within a hospital setting.
Responsibilities
- Cook up and participate in education for transport team members
- Coordinate stabilization and emergency care of neonates and infants during transport in collaboration with medical staff
- Ensure care aligns with hospital policies, state laws, and industry guidelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or related field
- Valid RN license
- Certifications including BCLS, ACLS, STABLE, NRP, and transport-specific credentials
- Minimum of 3 years RN experience in high-risk obstetrics
