About the role

The TRANSITIONAL LIVING PROGRAM (TLP) RESIDENT ADVISOR is responsible for providing support and guidance to residents in a transitional living program.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily supervision and support to residents
  • Assist residents with daily living skills and self-care
  • Maintain a safe and healthy living environment
  • Document resident interactions and progress
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure resident needs are met

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in residential care or social work
  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • Experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma
  • Knowledge of community resources and services

Skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Schedule

  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
