About the role
The TRANSITIONAL LIVING PROGRAM (TLP) RESIDENT ADVISOR is responsible for providing support and guidance to residents in a transitional living program.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily supervision and support to residents
- Assist residents with daily living skills and self-care
- Maintain a safe and healthy living environment
- Document resident interactions and progress
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure resident needs are met
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in residential care or social work
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma
- Knowledge of community resources and services
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
