Transition, Readiness and Change Management Director

About the role
As the Transition, Readiness and Change Management Director, you will manage overall operations and performance of assigned contracts, ensuring compliance, customer satisfaction, and profitability. You will lead teams, optimize processes, and act as the primary point of contact for state officials and other external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall operations and performance of assigned contracts, including P&L, quality, and compliance with all terms and conditions.
- Prepare and analyze regular performance reports.
- Oversee all aspects of the customer relationship for assigned contracts, ensuring effective communication and resolving customer complaints.
- Provide leadership and direct supervision to assigned employees, including setting goals, monitoring performance, coaching, and evaluating results.
- Drive continual process improvement by refining and optimizing workflows to enhance efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Foster an entrepreneurial work environment by developing and hiring superior talent and instilling a culture of accountability and discipline.
- Interpret company policies, procedures, and goals for subordinates.
- Participate in the development and monitoring of the operational budget for assigned contracts.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure product and service applications are optimized for contract compliance, productivity, and quality.
- Maintain responsibility for customer satisfaction, resolving compliance issues, and ensuring profitability for assigned contracts.
- Act as the primary point of contact for state officials and other external stakeholders.
- Direct and control activities within a broad functional area through department managers, overseeing planning, staffing, budgeting, and expense management.
- Address complex issues requiring in-depth knowledge of the company.
- Participate in corporate development of methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and personnel.
- Ensure budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
- Interact regularly with executives and major customers, often involving negotiation or influencing senior leaders on significant organizational matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience.

Pay
Annual salary range: $162,000 – $200,000. Compensation is based on factors such as job location, education, training, experience, and internal value analysis. Additional rewards may include short- and long-term incentives and program-specific awards. Maximus complies with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds.
