Responsibilities

• Set up winding mandrels by building forms
• Interpret engineering drawings and instructions
• Wind coils according to engineering instructions
• Braze connections as required by engineering instructions
• Hand‑tape all exposed conductors per engineering instructions
• Create crossovers as required by engineering instructions
• Modify stock materials within tolerances according to engineering instructions
• Perform and verify all work in accordance with manufacturing methods (checklists)
• Prepare and size coils
• Operate tow‑motor, coil up‑ender, coil press, and overhead crane as required
• Maintain extremely clean winding facilities and equipment

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (required)
• Welding certification (preferred)
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience (required)
• Transformer manufacturing experience (preferred)
• Military experience (a plus)
