Electrician - Nights

Job Function

We require the skills of an Electrician/Maintenance Technician, with an electrical focus, to join our talented Maintenance team, who will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of all the building and equipment as required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years industrial experience.
• Proof of formal training in specialty areas (i.e., Pneumatics, Hydraulics, mechanical, PLC’s, Instrumentation, etc.).
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Proficiency or ability to learn electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
• Proficiency or ability to learn to read and interpret electrical schematics and ladder logic.
• Proficiency or ability to learn to install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, cable assemblies, fixtures and other electrical components.

General Responsibilities

• Install machinery and equipment according to electrical code and circuit drawing using hand and power tools;
• Perform all work with adherence to safety and housekeeping procedures;
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals;
• Install industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools;
• Adjust machinery to repair or replace defective parts;
• Connect electrical power to communication equipment, signaling devices and heating and cooling systems;
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records;
• Startup, shutdown, setup and adjust equipment as required;
• Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions;
• Train or assist in training new workers;
• Maintain and complete records in our CMMS System.

Experience

• Industrial: 3 years (Required)
• Mechanical knowledge: 3 years (Required)

Ability To

• Commute to Rolla, MO 65401 (Required)
