Line Loader - Nights

About the Role

Operate and monitor loader equipment to properly fill containers with product.

Responsibilities

• Run loader to properly fill baskets or trays depending on the line.
• Verify and monitor equipment setup and timing according to SOP.
• Load product correctly according to SOP.
• Check codes per mandated SOP.
• Monitor product and trays/baskets for possible issues or defects and take appropriate corrective action.
• Perform weekly sanitation.
• Participate as a member of the team, including:
  • Engaging in ongoing development, communication, and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies.
  • Coordinating work to ensure best practices with all team members.
  • Attending appropriate team meetings.
  • Fostering strong cohesiveness regarding major issues (e.g., direction, annual plan, budget, policy changes).
  • Identifying areas lacking cohesiveness and working with the team to resolve them.
  • Actively reinforcing actions needed to achieve synergy within the larger organization.
• Understand and support Simmons' established operating systems (e.g., quality, security, office environment, company policies).
• Perform other duties as necessary in support of business objectives.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): steel-toed shoes, ear plugs, hair net.

Qualifications

• Preferred education or experience: up to one month of experience or training.
