Transformation Manager (Supply Chain)

About the role

ADUSA Distribution, the distribution arm of Ahold Delhaize USA, is seeking a Manager I, Supply Chain Transformation to drive strategic transformation initiatives that support the long‑term network strategy. The role works with leaders and cross‑functional teams to design, analyze, and implement initiatives focused on network optimization, facility transformation, transportation improvements, and process modernization. It involves leveraging data, operational expertise, and project‑management disciplines to turn growth strategies and volume forecasts into executable plans that improve service, capacity, and cost performance.

Responsibilities

• Drive Strategic Network Design & Analysis: Support evaluation and design of supply‑chain network strategies, conduct data analysis, scenario modeling, and forecasting; develop business cases, cost‑benefit analyses, and investment recommendations.
• Lead Program & Project Execution: Plan and execute transformational initiatives from concept through implementation; track milestones, identify risks, provide status reporting; manage scope, dependencies, timelines, and issue resolution; ensure governance standards and documentation practices.
• Partner Across the Organization: Collaborate with operations, engineering, IT, finance, transportation, and external partners; facilitate workshops, working sessions, and design reviews; communicate progress, risks, recommendations, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
• Advance Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem‑solving to identify improvement opportunities; support evaluation and implementation of operational, process, and technology enhancements; contribute to standardization, best practices, and lessons learned.
• Support Talent Development & Organizational Excellence: Partner with senior leaders to develop transformation, leadership, and project‑management capabilities; mentor analysts and project contributors; create tools, templates, and documentation to improve execution consistency.
• Deliver Executive‑Level Insights: Prepare dashboards, reports, and performance metrics focused on cost, service, and capacity outcomes; develop clear presentations that translate complex data into actionable business recommendations for leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, operations, analytics, project management, or related functions.
• Experience supporting cross‑functional initiatives, large‑scale projects, or transformation‑focused workstreams.
• Working knowledge of distribution‑center operations and transportation networks.
• Familiarity with WMS, TMS, ERP platforms, and analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, and data‑visualization solutions.
• Understanding of project‑management methodologies and continuous‑improvement practices.
• Knowledge of financial analysis and business‑case development for operational initiatives.
• Strong critical‑thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple functions and levels.
• Proven ability to build relationships, drive alignment, and lead through influence in a matrixed environment.
• Strong planning, prioritization, and project‑coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting supply‑chain transformation, network optimization, facility redesign, or transportation improvement initiatives.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply‑chain strategy, distribution operations, transportation networks, and long‑range planning.
• Experience managing complex, multi‑phase programs with disciplined governance.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and drive successful organizational change.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or other operational‑excellence certifications.
• Ability to translate strategic goals into executable roadmaps and measurable results.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to present complex analyses and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Passion for continuous improvement, operational excellence, and building scalable solutions that drive business performance.

Pay

Salary: $92,640 – $138,960, depending on experience.
