Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership
  • Drive individual and team performance through the established Performance Management System (PMS)
  • Recognize and celebrate accomplishments, goals/objectives, etc.
  • Manage purchased direct parts
  • Lead and manage a Team up to 20 employees
  • Operational Management
  • Manage daily activities within the area of responsibility, ensuring smooth workflows and timely execution of tasks
  • Develop and monitor annual budget and spend
  • Supplier Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, acquiring necessary and timely information, and monitoring performance
  • Conduct supplier program reviews and supplier visits to ensure demand alignment
  • Inventory Management
  • Ensure optimal inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing costs and waste
  • Logistics Coordination
  • Collaborate with the Logistics Organization on the movement of goods, including part prioritization to ensure efficient delivery of material to the site and work areas
  • Data Analysis And Reporting
  • Analyze data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency within the supply chain
  • Problem Solving
  • Address and resolve issues that may arise in the supply chain, such as delays, disruptions, or quality issues
  • Master Root Cause / Corrective Action (RCCA) process
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Work closely with other departments including operations, program, quality, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective coordination

Qualifications

  • Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years of experience in as a Supply Chain Professional and/or Management experience in a production environment, strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, leadership and team management skills, negotiation and contract management skills, proficiency in relevant software and tools, experience with supply chain management systems, inventory management software, and data analysis tools, excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, experience working with multiple cross functional groups, strong project management and time management skills, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, ability to effect change, knowledge of MRP systems, SAP preferred, high school diploma or GED preferred
  • Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Supply Chain or other relevant course of study, MBA or Master’s Degree, knowledge/experience with manufacturing and manufacturing processes, APICS, CPIM, CSCP or other industry certification, governance and compliance background including experience with AS9100 or other external audits, experience in Aerospace, drug free workplace
