Transfer Center Bedflow Coordinator RN

Overview

Sentara is hiring a RN Transfer Center Bedflow Coordinator for the Fort Norfolk Transfer Center. This position is full time (36 hours per week), day shift.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse
• Experience working in ICU, ED or Transfer Center
• Recent Acute Care
• Possesses the following skills: Ability to multitask, type with reasonable speed and take accurate notes.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, develops, implements, and evaluates transfers for patient flow throughout the system network.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate appropriate and timely patient placement and/or transfers.
• Coordinates and communicates capacity management plan to nursing units, leadership team and physicians.
