Transfer Center Agent - Part Time - Evening
Responsibilities
- Answers telephones in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Utilizes professional tone and demeanor in all communication.
- Collaborates with Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to arrange appropriate and timely transportation based on established protocols.
- Escalates barriers and concerns using applicable policies and procedures as well as chain of command.
- Maintains a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs.
- Education, Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Preferred: Emergency medical services experience, Computer literacy, Medical terminology, Excellent communication skills, Flexible and adaptable to change, Ability to multitask, Licenses And Certifications Preferred: Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic, AHA Basic Life Support.
Patient Age Specification
Patient age specification: Neonate, infant, toddler, pre-school, school age, adolescent, adult, geriatrics.
Compensation
Minimum rate of $20.64 Hourly HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members.
