Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Care Coordinator

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist with the educational portion of TMS consultation to interested patients, perform demonstrations on TMS device/s to interested patients, and navigate insurance landscape with patients and providers.
• Complete prior authorization requests and ensure prompt insurance follow up.
• Affiliate with Benefits Investigator/Cost Estimation Team to understand and relay findings to patients.
• Collaborate with Patients on financing options when applicable (insurance and self-pay).
• Act as patient liaison throughout the journey from consultation to patient start. Provide consistent communication with patients so they understand where they are in the insurance approval process.
• Schedule patients’ mappings with PA and MD.
• Work as a back-up TMS Technician in emergency short staffing situations.
• Attend clinic and regional meetings as directed by TMS Operations Manager and Regional Medical Director.

Other Duties

Performs other duties as required.

Travel

95% of duties will be in clinics within a single metropolitan area (region). Less than 5% travel outside the region.

Minimum Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Two years’ experience in healthcare related field is required.
• One year TMS Tech, prior authorization or mental health experience is preferred.
• TMS training certification is required after 90 days of employment.
• A driver’s license is required.
