Responsibilities
- Interpret and advise project team on contract provisions and obligations
- Within established time frames, draft and issue formal notices to: Owner, Subcontractors, Insurance companies
- Collaborate with the Risk Mitigation team to address: OCIP (Owner Controlled Insurance Program), SDI (Subcontractor Default Insurance), Other insurance obligations
- Review and draft riders to standard subcontracts
- Support the project team with: Change order requirements, Change management processes
- Ensure timely submission of all contractual documentation
- Provide training and guidance to the operations team on contractual requirements
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) with 1-5 years of experience in construction law, contract interpretation, and risk management
- Understanding of insurance programs (OCIP, SDI)
- Excellent written communication and collaboration skills
- Willing to work onsite at the project site and at our Headquarters
- Valid driver’s license required
- Proficiency with internal business software and databases, including SharePoint and CMIC
