A highly respected regional law firm with a longstanding presence throughout New England is actively seeking attorneys across multiple transactional and business practice areas.

About the role

The firm is known for handling sophisticated legal matters while maintaining a collaborative, entrepreneurial culture that offers meaningful client contact, mentorship, and long-term career development. Unlike many firms that operate under rigid compensation and billable hour formulas, this organization evaluates attorneys holistically based on performance, client service, leadership potential, and overall contributions.

Responsibilities

  • Transactional and business law attorney opportunities in corporate / M&A, commercial real estate, real estate finance & lending, debt finance, land use & development, and other areas.
  • May include corporate / M&A mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, entity formation and structuring, general business counseling, private equity transactions, venture capital transactions, securities matters, commercial contract drafting and negotiation, commercial real estate acquisitions and disposals, commercial leasing, development projects, commercial financing, real estate due diligence, title and survey review, purchase and sale agreements, real estate finance / lending, commercial real estate lending, loan documentation and negotiation, borrower and lender representation, financing transactions, development financing, debt finance, asset-based lending, acquisition financing, mezzanine financing, syndicated credit facilities, receivables financing, cross-border financing transactions, workouts and restructurings, land use & development, zoning and permitting, development approvals, motion practice and discovery, municipal board hearings, renewable energy development matters.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and client communication skills
  • Prior law firm experience preferred
  • Portable business is welcomed but not required for most opportunities

Qualifications

  • Current opportunities include corporate / M&A attorneys (3+ years), commercial real estate attorneys (5+ years), real estate finance & lending attorneys (5+ years), debt finance attorneys (4+ years), and land use & development attorneys (2+ years).

$150,000 - $225,000 per year
