Key Responsibilities
- Lead and improve transactional accounting functions, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, and related accounting operations.
- Evaluate existing workflows and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Partner cross-functionally to standardize procedures and ensure consistency across the organization.
- Oversee the full AP cycle, including invoice processing, vendor management, payment execution, and account reconciliations.
- Manage the AR process, including billing, cash application, collections, and customer account reconciliations.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounting transactions and maintain strong internal controls.
- Aid with data integration and transactional workflows related to revenue and sales activity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience leading accounts payable or transactional accounting functions in a supervisory or management capacity.
- Familiarity with shared services environments and cross-functional finance operations.
- Working knowledge of accounts receivable processes and their connection to broader accounting workflows.
- Experience using Sage Intacct or comparable accounting systems to manage transactional activity.
- Ability to drive process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal control.
- Exposure to acquisition integration activities within accounting or finance operations is preferred.
