Transaction Servicing Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Process ACH, check, and other payment transactions accurately and within established service-level agreements.
• Review, validate, and release ACH batches while ensuring compliance with operational procedures.
• Investigate and resolve transaction exceptions, discrepancies, and processing errors.
• Perform transaction corrections and account adjustments as needed.
• Manage service requests and support cases from internal and external customers.
• Communicate effectively with customers, business partners, payment providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and provide updates.
• Maintain accuracy and quality standards while processing high transaction volumes.
• Utilize multiple systems and platforms, including FIS and Salesforce, to support operational activities.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Adhere to banking regulations, company policies, and operational controls.

Required Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a transaction-processing, operations, banking, financial services, or customer support environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and transaction types simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in financial transaction processing.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable interacting with internal teams, customers, and external partners.
• Proficiency navigating multiple systems in a fast-paced operational environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with ACH and check processing.
• Knowledge of back-office payment operations.
• Experience working with FIS and/or Salesforce.
• Previous experience in banking or financial services operations.
• Familiarity with transaction corrections, exception handling, and payment processing workflows.
