Transaction Coordinator

As a Transaction Coordinator, you will serve as a strategic operational partner to our agents, managing all compliance and administrative aspects of the listing, transaction, and commission processes. By owning the operational details from contract to close, you empower Compass agents to focus entirely on building client relationships and growing their businesses. Acting as the central point of contact for all stakeholders, you will ensure a seamless, high-velocity closing experience that reflects our commitment to exceptional service. Please note: This position requires working from our New Jersey office one day every other week, with occasional travel to other offices for special events. At Compass You Will Handle document tracking for a large volume of real estate transactions from listing to close, and/or contract to close, ensuring compliance with brokerage and legal requirementsEnsure real estate contracts are processed properly and in a timely matter, with a focus on the detailsManage and track contract deadlines to ensure all timelines are metNavigate company systems to validate accuracy of compliance and commission recordsProvide support to Agents in response to inquiries regarding commission payouts, deductions, and commission calculationsCollaborate with sales managers and other support teams to offer outstanding support to the agents What We Are Looking For 2+ years of experience in a real estate transaction-processings function, coordination, accounting, or payroll function preferredIllinois real estate license requiredFamiliarity with standard real estate forms used in IllinoisStrong written, quantitative, verbal, and presentation skillsAbility to digest detailed contracts and make informed decisions based on contentAbility to maintain strict confidentiality of Agent’s contract dataWork independently and collaboratively in a team environmentCustomer service-oriented personalityImpeccable attention to detail and problem-solving skillsB.A. or B.S. degree preferred Compensation: The base pay range for this position is $30.00 - 34.00 hourly; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonuses and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of benefits. Base pay is based on market location.
