Transaction Advisory Services Senior Associate
About the role
Weaver is seeking a Transaction Advisory Services Senior Associate to join our growing firm. This role involves assisting with financial due diligence projects for clients, including analyzing complex information, preparing concise reports, and maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Assist with financial due diligence projects for clients
- Perform analysis of complex and voluminous information
- Prepare concise reports
- Build analysis from source documents
- Understand the level of quality and deliverable expectations for each client
- Aid in preparing agendas, schedules, and exhibits
- Establish trust with clients and maintain good working relationships
- Identify deal issues and other adjustments impacting reports
- Draft certain portions of client deliverables
- Develop technical skills surrounding change of control events such as refinancing, acquisitions, mergers, etc.
- Mentor and help develop less experienced staff
- Manage project timelines and deadlines
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA candidate or CPA
- 3+ years of experience in transaction advisory services/financial due diligence, or public accounting, or equivalent professional experience
- Thorough understanding of financial statements
- Advanced understanding of financial reports, transaction cycles, and business processes
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
- Preferred: Project Management experience
- Preferred: Team orientation
- Preferred: Strong interpersonal skills
