Training Specialist

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Facility Designees, Plant Manager/Department Managers, and HR Training Team members to collect information and communications regarding the training process.
• Develops professional training content and program materials to support desired business outcomes.
• Maintains and tracks training records, including updating and reporting on training systems.
• Spend time daily on the manufacturing floor to conduct spot checks on the On-the-Job Training (OJT) process.
• Provides complete oversight, trains, and continuously improves the OJT process, including CPR training, the Train the Trainer course, Lean manufacturing, and all required annual training.
• Generates reports for all training activities and communicates data and results with leadership.
• Ensures training facilitation, material, and records comply with quality and environmental standards.
• Delivers professional customer service to internal customers through effective communication.
• Implements a continuous improvement mindset to enhance content and the training process.
• Pivots effectively based on changing business needs and requirements.
• Maintains and delivers consistent new hire orientation in the Wellsboro plant.
• Supports the HR and Manufacturing teams to ensure all employees are trained effectively.
• Is proficient in AI tools and uses them to be more effective.
• Familiar with change management methodologies and is comfortable planning and executing them when needed.
