PRIMARY PURPOSE
To facilitate training; to assess colleague career development needs; to develop training programs and materials; and to deliver programs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Delivers new colleague orientation.
- Maintains development plans.
- Oversees performance analyses.
- Develops training material, lesson plans, assessment and evaluation for training modules.
- Ensures that the training process is properly coordinated, monitored, documented and evaluated.
- Captures and coordinates technical systems training.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supports the organization's quality program(s).
- Travels as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education & Licensing: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Experience: Four (4) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include two (2) years line-of-business (such as claims, customer service, etc.) experience and two (2) years training experience.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
- Good knowledge of adult education theory.
- Technologically literate - understands support systems.
- Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills.
- PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
- Analytical and interpretive skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent negotiation skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to meet or exceed Performance Competencies.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
