Training Specialist

About the role

Lithium Nevada, a development-stage company of Lithium Americas, is seeking a Training Specialist to join their team at Thacker Pass. The Training Specialist will collaborate with the Training Superintendent and department leaders to implement, evaluate, and continuously improve training programs for Thacker Pass employees, contractors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Design and update training materials, job aids, and On-the-Job (OJT) guides aligned with the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT).
• Manage and maintain training records, schedules, and content within the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align training expectations and standards.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in training within mining or chemical processing environments.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills.
• Experience designing and coordinating OJT and compliance-based programs.
• Commitment to safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
