The Training Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs for Food & Beverage and Front Office team members. This role ensures employees are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and service standards necessary to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maintaining operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a passionate hospitality professional with demonstrated experience in training, coaching, and developing employees within hotel, resort, restaurant, or hospitality environments. This position requires flexibility to support operational needs, including weekends, holidays, and occasional evening shifts. Training & Development Design, coordinate, and facilitate onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.Develop and deliver training programs for Front Office and Food & Beverage employees.Create training materials, job aids, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and learning resources.Conduct regular refresher training sessions to maintain service excellence and operational consistency.Monitor employee progress and provide coaching, mentoring, and performance support.Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, observations, and performance metrics. Food & Beverage Training Train employees on service standards, food safety, sanitation practices, guest engagement, and product knowledge.Ensure compliance with applicable food handling and alcohol service regulations.Support managers with departmental training plans and cross-training initiatives.Promote consistency in service delivery and guest satisfaction standards. Front Office Training Train team members on guest service standards, reservations systems, check-in/check-out procedures, and problem-resolution techniques.Coach employees on communication skills, guest recovery, and hospitality best practices.Ensure proper understanding of company policies, procedures, and operational expectations. Leadership & Compliance Partner with department leaders to identify training needs and skill gaps.Maintain accurate training records and ensure completion of required certifications.Support compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.Assist in developing leadership programs and career development pathways.Foster a culture of continuous learning, engagement, and professional growth.
