Training Leader
About the role
The Training Leader (Director of Training) leads the Association's training team responsible for developing practical, role-based learning programs that help team members perform their jobs effectively and consistently. This role oversees training for sales, operational, and enterprise functions, partnering closely with business leaders to identify skill and knowledge needs and deliver training solutions that support business performance.
Responsibilities
- Leads, coaches, and develops a team of learning professionals including Operations Training Managers, Sales and Financial Training Managers, and the Human Capital Coordinator.
- Develops and executes a strategic training and enablement roadmap aligned with organizational goals and talent strategies.
- Develops, monitors, and manages the training function's annual budget aligning resources with organizational goals and fiscal accountability.
- Delivers effective, scalable training across the sales lifecycle, operations, and service functions.
- Pairs with HR and business leaders to assess training needs, deliver solutions, and measure the impact of learning programs on performance.
- Champions continuous improvement, data-driven decision making, and the integration of new learning technologies and methods.
- Provides clear goals, plans, and expectations that translate strategy into action.
- Leads complex initiatives that improve performance, quality, or innovation.
- Develops team members through coaching, feedback, and accountability.
- Buils strong partnerships across the Association to ensure alignment and coordinated execution.
- Exercises sound judgment to balance business needs, risk, and customer impact.
Requirements
Experience leading operational, systems, or process-based training programs, proven ability to build and scale role-based training curricula tied to job performance, experience partnering with business leaders to address performance gaps with targeted training, demonstrated success delivering sales enablement or operational training programs, experience using data and performance metrics to evaluate training effectiveness, familiarity with learning technologies and performance support tools (LMS, SOPs, job aids), background in operationally complex or regulated industries, Bachelor's degree with 5 years relevant experience required.

Skills
Strong mental acuity, problem-solving skills, and occasional physical tasks such as standing, lifting, or extended computer usage. Some roles may require physical or mental requirements related to driving, such as a valid driver's license, and the ability to drive a long-distance.

Pay
The salary range for this position is estimated to be $91,854.00 – $178,402.00 annualized, which reflects the company's current estimate of the potential compensation range at the time of posting. This salary range reflects the anticipated compensation for this position and represents one component of the total rewards package. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, qualifications, and allotted budget.
