Pay

Estimated annual base pay: $85,000 (minimum) - $110,000 (midpoint) - $136,000 (maximum). All members are included in an annual cash bonus opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Implements internal training, development, and selection programs to enhance team performance, workforce readiness, and operational efficiency.
  • Instructs technical and development courses for members at all organizational levels, achieving learning objectives through training excellence and skill assessment.
  • Coordinates schedules and support teams by collaborating with site leaders and subject matter experts to identify instructors and selection-team members; organizes training and selection activities into a cohesive schedule and communicates program requirements and updates regularly.
  • Facilitates workforce readiness by coordinating onboarding activities for new hires and supporting candidate selection processes to ensure successful integration and long-term workforce development.
  • Drives culture through training by collaborating with site leaders and teams to understand culture initiatives and improve through programs, development activities, and training initiatives.

Skills

  • Course Instruction: Expertise in facilitating engaging in-person training courses, both technical and soft-skill based.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes, operational procedures, and workforce development practices.
  • Leadership without Authority: Ability to guide, influence, and motivate team members and SMEs to achieve training and operational objectives without direct-line authority.
  • Employee Development: Expertise in training and developing team members to enhance capability, performance, and career growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Ability to prioritize activities and develop plans to meet site and organizational goals.
  • Compliance Management: Ensures adherence to policies and procedures to maintain quality and standards.
  • Business Acumen: Understanding of operational business practices and program management to improve workforce effectiveness and process efficiency.
  • Program Coordination: Skilled in organizing training, onboarding, and selection activities while balancing multiple priorities and stakeholders.
  • Resource Coordination: Skilled in coordinating instructors, subject matter experts, facilities, and materials to support operational demands.
  • Communication: Effective at facilitating discussions, delivering presentations, interpreting results, and communicating improvement opportunities with site leadership and employees.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience facilitating training to hourly, technical, and leadership audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coordinate cross-functional teams without direct supervisory authority.
  • Experience supporting workforce onboarding, employee development, selection programs, or talent assessment initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple training and operational priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, or other highly regulated environments preferred.

This position will be designated as a DOT safety-sensitive role in the future, requiring a pre-employment drug test for prohibited substances as defined in 49 CFR 40.3, including marijuana, cocaine, opioids, phencyclidine (PCP), and amphetamines before performing safety-sensitive duties.

The role requires handling information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Applicants must be U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, asylees, or refugees) or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or Commerce.
