Training Director, Americas (Bilingual Spanish/English Required)

Position Summary

The Training Director will serve as the strategic architect for training and retailer initiatives that drive client acquisition, conversion, and loyalty across all channels — aligned with TAG Heuer's brand elevation strategy and customer experience vision. This key leadership role is responsible for elevating the Client Experience across TAG Heuer Americas' retail and wholesale network, in line with the brand's repositioning as a high-end watchmaker and its commitment to sustainability, inclusion, and innovation.

Main Responsibilities

  • Drive the rollout of comprehensive, engaging training programs across all formats, including digital/e-learning, interactive, experiential, and social learning, reflecting TAG Heuer's innovative and forward-thinking culture
  • Champion brand elevation training by equipping retail and wholesale teams with deep knowledge of TAG Heuer's repositioning, core collections, advanced movements, new materials, and best practices in the client journey
  • Align training content with TAG Heuer's strategic partnerships (Formula 1, Porsche), leveraging storytelling and cultural context to engage teams from all markets and channels
  • Partner with VP Retail, Regional Sales Leadership, and VP Sales to identify training needs, prioritize store/door rollouts, and escalate requests to HQ partners
  • Leverage client insights and data to deliver client-centric training content and make strategic business decisions
  • Efficiently manage the training project pipeline across multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Lead Training Team calls to share updates, best practices, and identify training gaps
  • Develop and deploy tools for measuring and monitoring training impact, using findings to continuously improve programming
  • Support training efforts for experiential retail environments (e.g., flagship stores, franchise boutique, etc), ensuring teams deliver immersive, brand-consistent client experiences
  • Build, manage, and control the Training Department’s annual budget to ensure all training needs are met in a profitable manner while delivering an elevated experience to all learners that’s in line with a luxury brand
  • Act as the main point of connection between HQ Training Department and the Americas Region
  • Work closely with the Marketing Department to support Brand events where TAG Heuer heritage and product knowledge expertise is needed
  • Responsible for approving and processing all expenses and invoices from the Training Department

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • A minimum 10+ years of Training/Learning or Development experience in a fast-growing, premium/luxury environment
  • Proven ability to develop training programs aligned with brand initiatives and strategies for retail and wholesale channels
  • Excellent team player & collaborator, with proven ability to motivate and inspire direct reports and influence across multiple channels
  • Ability to train managers to inspire employees to excellence as well and address underperformance effectively
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to articulate ideas clearly across a variety of settings, adapting the message to the audience and market
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong relationship building skills
  • Strong listening and observational skills, with a track record of successfully coaching retail leaders
  • Experience leading and managing remote and geographically dispersed teams
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and platforms, including e-learning authoring tools
  • Ability and willingness to travel extensively across the Americas region, up to 70%
  • Spanish fluency required
