Training & Development Coordinator

About the role

The Training & Development Coordinator will work in collaboration with the Salt Lake Behavioral Health Executive Leadership team to develop and maintain a system of training and development that ensures compliance with all relevant regulatory entities, provides high-quality training services to employees, and supports and strengthens employees’ professional development. The Training & Development Coordinator coordinates all training-related activities and presents training to all employees on company policies and procedures, new hire orientation, core philosophies, first aid, CPR, safety & emergency procedures, verbal de-escalation, and physical interventions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a system of training and development to ensure compliance with regulatory entities.
• Provide high-quality training services to employees.
• Support and strengthen employees’ professional development.
• Coordinate all training-related activities.
• Present training on company policies and procedures, new hire orientation, core philosophies, first aid, CPR, safety & emergency procedures, verbal de-escalation, and physical interventions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 3-5 years of experience in training, compliance, and professional development.
• Certifications Required: Handle with Care Trainer, Verbal De-escalation Trainer, AED/CPR/First Aid Trainer, Service Excellence Facilitator.
• Handle with Care Master Trainer (preferred).
• Verbal De-escalation Master Trainer (preferred).
