Training Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver classroom, on-the-job, and distance learning training in support of logistics and sustainment operations.
• Create comprehensive training documentation including manuals, demonstrations, and mission simulations aligned to evolving operational scenarios.
• Configure and manage training platforms that enable realistic replication of operational systems and scenarios.
• Provide training in partner nation native languages where required, integrating vendor-specific logistics tools and mission awareness.
• Support development and delivery of logistics and sustainment training to include Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE), JOPT, and wargames.
• Integrate operational, threat, and political context into training scenarios to enhance mission realism and responsiveness.
• Cookordination and execution of in-person training sessions ensuring ITAR compliance and mission alignment.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in education or a related technical field
• 7+ years of experience developing and delivering military or logistics-related training programs
• Experience providing instructional design and training delivery in support of DoD logistics or sustainment missions
• Ability to develop technical training documentation aligned to system capabilities and user roles
• High School and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related discipline
• Experience coordinating international training events with foreign partners and managing language-accessible materials
• Working knowledge of ITAR, export compliance, and defense training with foreign nationals
• Proven ability to incorporate real-world threat scenarios and intelligence-informed context into training environments
• Certifications in instructional design, adult learning, or related military training fields (e.g., Master Training Specialist, CompTIA CTT+)

Clearance Requirements

Must have a current/active TS/SCI security clearance

Physical Requirements

The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasional movement about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
