Training Coordinator

About the Role

The MGH Center for School Behavioral Health conducts clinical research, develops and implements effective school-based behavioral health programs, and informs policy to expand access to school-based behavioral health. We partner with hundreds of schools to develop and test interventions and have several ongoing research studies and implementation programming.

The Training Coordinator will support the Center’s expanding portfolio of program-related activities, including iDECIDE (the Center’s flagship school-based behavioral health program), restorative policy implementation in schools, and design of a universal substance prevention and mental health promotion program. This position is grant-funded and subject to annual renewal cycles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate programming activity logistics, including reserving space, creating registration pages, scheduling meetings, managing Calendly, and posting events on internal and external sites.
• Oversee virtual and in-person event preparation, such as printing materials, packing training boxes, and arranging catering and A/V needs.
• Liaise with internal Mass General Brigham stakeholders and external stakeholders to advance program-related activities.
• Provide administrative and technical support during trainings and events.
• Manage and update various administrative records and directories, including the CRM.
• Attend regular meetings and professional development sessions.
• Participate in outreach efforts, including attending community engagement events, and collaborate with community partners to promote CSBH research and programming.
• Conduct background research on youth behavioral health challenges, evidence-based practices, and relevant policy landscape to inform program design and development.
• Assist in identifying grant opportunities and preparing sections of grant proposals to secure funding for new programs.
• Support data collection and findings dissemination through liaising with the data team.
• Create materials to support existing and upcoming programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of work experience, OR Master’s degree (e.g., MPH, MSW) with 1-2 years' experience preferred.
• Prior experience and/or coursework relating to school-based programming, community-based programming, or prevention programming is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication (written and verbal), problem-solving, and organizational skills required.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively build relationships with diverse populations.
• Ability to prioritize competing tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience managing a CRM or LMS, or other large databases to support partner communications.
• Commitment to addressing challenges in youth behavioral health and upholding equity in improving behavioral health supports in school and community settings.

• Experience with Learning Management Systems and virtual training.
• Proficient in collaborative skills to work with different departments, trainers, and external partners.

Additional Details

This is a hybrid position based at 125 Nashua Street.

Schedule

Full-time, 40 scheduled weekly hours during day shifts.

Pay

Hourly pay range: $22.22 - $31.71 (Grade 4).
